Thank you to everyone who came down to support artists in the Schmidt community this past weekend and who made cash donations or purchased items from me to support local women's shelters. The donation total for the weekend was $110! I'm so grateful for everyone who was able to contribute. As promised here are the donation receipts from the weekend. Thank you again and please if you can provide  additional support to these organizations that would be appreciated! Winter is just around the corner and warmer clothing or personal hygiene items are always needed at the shelters. ​

Masks are still available for purchase at Healing Insights in Bloomington and 100% of the sales proceeds will continue to be donated to local women's shelters.

Fall is my favorite season. The color, the light so dreamy and beautiful. This year we had record drought and that meant, less color in the leaves. That doesn't mean less inspiration! I walk the neighborhood everyday looking for color combinations to inspire my work. The reds, muted greens and black of this planter with geraniums spoke to me and I made some color palettes directly from this photograph. I'm excited to use some of these colors in branding designs. Please feel free to use these palettes in your own work. I would love to see what you create! I encourage you to get out there and find some color inspiration for yourself. Fall doesn't have to be all pumpkin spice! ;) Elle
Jewel tones and pastels convey luxury and softness. These color palettes would be great for a Spa or intimate Restaurant. Comment where you could incorporate these colors.
